About
Rachel Zagarino
LMFT · Marriage and Family Therapist
Rachel is a Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She received her degree from Drexel University with a Master's in Family Therapy.
Rachel brings a relational, trauma-informed approach to her work, helping clients better understand patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be shaping their relationships and sense of self. She supports individuals and couples in navigating stress, life transitions, communication challenges, family conflict, and emotional healing.
Rachel also has a deep passion for working with children and adolescents, as well as supporting parents and caregivers. She helps families better understand relational challenges, strengthen connection, and navigate systemic barriers that can make growth and healing more difficult.
Rachel's practice integrates trauma-informed thinking with attachment theory perspectives. She has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy, Contextual Therapy, and Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy. Rather than adhering rigidly to a single model, Rachel draws from different therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each client, couple, or family she works with.
